grey day

its chilly outside
the clouds have filled the sky
and i am stuck inside listening to ridiculous banter

i want to put on my yellow rain boots
and hop in the puddles
come back inside to grilled cheese and soup

i cant help but reflect and remember
days like this when i was a kid
